My books are available through Bookshop.org or from your local book storecomic book shop or public library. (and yeah, Amazon too. Ugh.) My self-published work and signed books are available through my Ko-Fi page.

I am also available for school visits, comic conventions and other events, both virtual and in-person - contact me for rates and scheduling. I'm currently scheduled to attend New York Comic Con 2022 , Baltimore Comic Con 2022 and WonderCon 2023.

My original art is posted to Comic Art Fans.  Here's a list the art I have for sale. I also sometimes sell my art on eBay. I also sell affordable prints of my art through Deviantart in a variety of formats. I can easily make any piece of my art available as a print, please email me your requests.

Bio

Ryan Dunlavey is the artist of multiple award-winning non-fiction graphic novels including Action Philosophers, the Action Presidents series, The Comic Book History of Animation, The Comic Book History of Comics and the Action Activists series for the New York City Department of Education - all co-authored with his frequent collaborator, writer Fred Van Lente. In 2012, Ryan illustrated and co-authored the groundbreaking graphic novel cookbook Dirt Candy with chef Amanda Cohen and author Grady Hendrix. Ryan also wrote and illustrated M.O.D.O.K. Reign Delay for Marvel Comics which inspired the M.O.D.O.K. animated series on Hulu. 

 

Ryan is a seasoned illustrator, designer, writer and animator and has been published by HarperCollins, Penguin, Scholastic, Taschen, Random House and MAD magazine. He has drawn comics for Dark Horse, Dynamite, IDW, Image, Oni, Royal Flush, Webtoons, Wizard and Z2. His creative clients include Disney, Warner Brothers, The Children's Place, Hasbro, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, The WWE, Spencer Gifts and his mom.

Ryan lives and works in New York City with his partner Liza Pagano and their children. He enjoys traveling, cooking, cycling, snacking, camping and watching lots of cartoons - luckily for him, his family likes all those things too. Ryan is fully posable (accessories sold separately) but will only be available on this planet for a limited time, so act now!
