Little Women

by Louisa May Alcott

adapted by Grady Hendrix and Ryan Dunlavey

Louisa May Alcott's 185,644 word required reading perennial about sisterly love adapted in the style of rude newspaper style gag comic strips - kind of like if Classics Illustrated went on a bender with Andy Capp. This was originally commissioned by a literary comics anthology whose editor totally ghosted us after it was turned in (which remains a mystery) so we self-published it as a stand-alone book instead. Grady and I had SO much fun making this comic and hoped to launch a whole series of similar books where we lovingly make fun of literary classics. We had ideas for Wuthering Heights, Romeo & Juliet, Dracula, A Christmas Carol and lots more but we just haven't found the right time or place for them.
