Chris Farley was a beloved comedy legend with a totally singular style, one that was heavily influenced by his childhood and his relationship with his father. Told in collaboration with his brother, stand-up comedian Kevin, Growing Up Farley is an intimate glimpse into Chris and Kevin’s adventures and their relationship with their dad; from performances at Red Arrow Camp, to improv sets at the Arc Theater in Wisconsin, all the way to Second City in Chicago where Chris's professional comedy career would begin.
It was such a privilage to collaborate with comedian Kevin Farley, writer Frank Marraffino and colorist Adam Guzowski to tell the story of Chris Farley's life before he was in fame's spotlight. I hope people enjoy reading it as much as I did drawing it.
